Balinese Dance & Gamelan Feature at Tomorrow’s Multicultural Mother’s Day Festival

BALINESE DANCE & GAMELAN will feature along with 14 other cultural activities at tomorrow’s Mother’s Day Multicultural Festival to be held 10 am to 3 pm at the Broadwater Parkland on Marine Parade.

Members of Seharum Nusantara Gold Coast who perform world-class Balinese Dance at selected venues all around Australia.

Seharum Nusantara, a popular Gold Coast Indonesian non-profit cultural group, have organised possibly the largest Mothers’ Day festival ever to be held on the Gold Coast.

And they’re providing a top-notch Balinese Dance show featuring the mesmerising Balinese Gamelan.

Seharum Nusantara spokesperson Thia Taylor said activities for the day are world-class.

“With so many activities, the whole festival will be jam-packed with entertainment from start to finish,” she said.

“Activities include eyebrows threading, henna tattooing, sand art, crafts for kids, a land train, jumping castle, free face panting, free children’s playground/activities, dance workshops and Tai Chi/Falun Gong workshops.”

“There will also be a giant raffle, with the first prize being a Brisbane-Taipei-Brisbane return airfare with Eva Air.”

“Other raffle prizes include:

  • Double pass tickets to Badminton Sudirman Cup 2017
  • Massage voucher
  • Facial voucher and
  • Hamper
