Gold Coast’s First Multicultural Mothers’ Day Festival Outstanding Success

THE GOLD Coast’s inaugural Mother’s Day Multicultural Festival held at the Broadwater Parklands on Marine Parade was a resounding success.

Seharum Nusantara, a popular Gold Coast Indonesian non-profit cultural group, organised and managed event.

SN spokesperson Thia Taylor said although the weather turned cloudy after lunch it was still a great day.
“I have no doubt we’ll be running it again next year,” she said.

Thia said the sponsors of the day deserve a very big pat on the back.

“Eva Air gave us a tremendous raffle prize – a ticket from Brisbane to Asia and back to Brisbane.”

Our other major sponsor, the Homestates Group, and local sponsors Warung all deserve a warm round of applause as well,” said Thia.
