Two people have been charged after a six-year-old girl went missing from a Caboolture house in Queensland yesterday morning July 4.

A woman and man have been charged after a six-year-old girl was reported missing from a Caboolture home on Tuesday July 4.

The young girl was last seen being put into a car by her mother and two unknown men about 9am, which triggered police to issue an Amber Alert for the child at 2pm.

An amber alert was issued for the girl, who was found safe and well on the Sunshine Coast just after 3pm.

A 24-year-old Chermside woman and a 31-year-old Mansfield man were both charged with burglary and commit an indictable offence (domestic violence offence).

The woman was denied bail and was due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.

The man was released on bail and was due to front the same court on July 20.
