He then nonchalantly boards the train with his white goods, only to be thwarted at the last minute by a Queensland rail officer, who slaps him with a $252 fine.
Take this enterprising young man, for example, who fronted up to Bowen Hills train station in Brisbane with a full-sized fridge in tow.
Video tweeted by Queensland Rail on Monday shows the man wrestling the fridge into a lift and wheeling it onto the train platform.
